Dedication
This organization was initially inspired by Ms. Kawthar Zeitoun; an individual who had both physical and non-physical disabilities. She was a shining light for her friends and family, and strangers who met her never forgot her.
On May 4, 2016, Kawthar passed away in her sleep peacefully. She was a beautiful and loving 32 year old who never ceased to smile, play, and share her warm hugs. She taught the people who knew her that having her disability is what truly magnified her beauty and strength, and did not diminish who she was whatsoever. Her positivity through her disabilities is what actually made her impactful and relatable. Today, we continue to advocate and promote awareness for individuals with disabilities in her loving memory! |
